E-MAIL PICTURE AS INSERT OR ATTACHMENT
INTRODUCTION
It is easy to e-mail a picture as an attachment. But it can also
be easily done without an attachment (inserted directly into the e-mail
body). You may open stone
> place mouse pointer on the picture > right click + save picture as >
save in My Documents\My Pictures > click Save. Repeat for pillars.
OPEN OUTLOOK EXPRESS AND START A NEW MAIL
Click (or double click) the Outlook Express icon on the Desktop.
Click the “New Mail” icon on the Standard Toolbar > maximize.
ATTACH A PICTURE TO E-MAIL
Click the Attach File icon (paperclip) on the Standard Toolbar > Look
in: My Documents \ My Pictures (may be necessary to double click My Pictures
folder) > select stone > click Attach. Complete the e-mail
To:, Subject: > click Send.
START A NEW MAIL
Click the “New Mail” icon on the Standard Toolbar > maximize.
INSERT A PICTURE INTO A NEW E-MAIL
Place the mouse pointer in the body of the e-mail (large lower area)
> click (creates blinking cursor) > click Insert (on the Menu Bar) > select
Picture > Browse to Picture Source: My Documents\My Pictures > click pillars
> click OK (picture is placed in the e-mail body). Complete the e-mail
To:, Subject: > click Send.
CONCLUSION
It’s good to know both methods of sending pictures. If your recipient
is using AOL or other e-mail software that make it difficult to view attachments,
it is best to insert the pictures in the body of the e-mail. The
advantage of sending pictures as attachments is that it is slightly easier
for the recipient to save the picture on his/her computer.
