E-MAIL PICTURE AS INSERT OR ATTACHMENT

INTRODUCTION
It is easy to e-mail a picture as an attachment.  But it can also be easily done without an attachment (inserted directly into the e-mail body).  You may open stone > place mouse pointer on the picture > right click + save picture as > save in My Documents\My Pictures > click Save.  Repeat for pillars.

OPEN OUTLOOK EXPRESS AND START A NEW MAIL
Click (or double click) the Outlook Express icon on the Desktop.  Click the “New Mail” icon on the Standard Toolbar > maximize.

ATTACH A PICTURE TO E-MAIL
Click the Attach File icon (paperclip) on the Standard Toolbar > Look in: My Documents \ My Pictures (may be necessary to double click My Pictures folder) > select stone > click Attach.  Complete the e-mail To:, Subject: > click Send.

START A NEW MAIL
Click the “New Mail” icon on the Standard Toolbar > maximize.

INSERT A PICTURE INTO A NEW E-MAIL
Place the mouse pointer in the body of the e-mail (large lower area) > click (creates blinking cursor) > click Insert (on the Menu Bar) > select Picture > Browse to Picture Source: My Documents\My Pictures > click pillars > click OK (picture is placed in the e-mail body).  Complete the e-mail To:, Subject: > click Send.

CONCLUSION
It’s good to know both methods of sending pictures.  If your recipient is using AOL or other e-mail software that make it difficult to view attachments, it is best to insert the pictures in the body of the e-mail.  The advantage of sending pictures as attachments is that it is slightly easier for the recipient to save the picture on his/her computer.
